Megan

I was sketching at Soho square for a while before I met Megan. That day it rained on and off and there was a lot of trees around.

Can you share something you hoped for in the past and managed to achieve this? :

I went to the uni to study fashion. Challenges are everywhere, but you mustn’t get them the best of you. Thanks to this attitude now I have a work placement at House of Fraser.

What is it that you hope for the future?

In the future, I want to be successful and have a happy life. But success, apart of good work, would mean for me being surrounded by good friends, to have their support when I need it. To feel that I’m not alone...

Have you got any advice for a younger Megan?

Follow your gut. Go for it! Don’t let any trouble stop you from doing things. Also maybe to spend more time on hobbies. When there is something you feel like doing, follow that nudge.
I might need to find time for things like music and dancing. I used to love doing that.

Thank you, Megan, for a chat. Also, for being curious about my project. I was very inspired to create a piece with those circular shapes. Like a safe space. A shelter, to not be feeling alone
